NWS Adds Rochester To Winter Warning

The National Weather Service out of La Crosse has added Rochester to the Winter Warning.

...Snow, Hazardous Travel Today And Tonight...

.Snow will continue to spread eastward into northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota late this morning and into western Wisconsin this afternoon. Periods of moderate to heavy snow are expected with significant visibility reductions. Accumulations of 5 to 8 inches are expected in the heaviest band with amounts decreasing with northward extent across west central into central Wisconsin. Expect deteriorating travel through the day with roads becoming snow covered and slippery. Use extreme caution if you must travel this afternoon into tonight.
