Garth Brooks To Narrate Week-Long National Geographic Special

Garth Brooks lent his voice to a new project highlighting America’s best national parks. The “Friends In Low Places” hit-maker announced on his social media channels on Tuesday (August 9) that he would narrate shows during the wee-long event, promising viewers, “you’re going to love this!” He wrote on Instagram:

“Are YOU ready to discover a national treasure like no other? Explore #AmericasNationalParks with me, a week-long event with shows I narrated starting August 29 at 9/8c on @natgeotv and streaming August 31 on @disneyplus! You’re going to love this! love, g”

Brooks shared a clip on his social media channels on Tuesday (August 9), highlighting breathtaking shots from the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Big Bend, Badlands and Hawaii Volcanoes. The week-long event is set to kick off on Monday, August 29, airing on National Geographic at 9 p.m. The event will be available to stream on Disney+ on August 31. National Geographic promised an opportunity for viewers to “witness the nation’s most iconic landscapes as you’ve never seen them before” via the upcoming week-long special, the TV network shared on Instagram when it announced the shows narrated by the country music star.
