Well In the USA , July 4th commemorates the birth of American independence. On that date in 1776, the Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence, which outlined the colonies' reasons for breaking away from the British crown and establishing a new sovereign nation. It's a significant day for all Americans — but it was especially so for Calvin Coolidge, the country's 30th President.
President Coolidge was born on July 4, 1872, four years shy of the centennial of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. He is the only commander-in-chief who shares a birthday with the United States,
