Are people over gyms? A new survey of regular gym goers found that 25% said they would never go back to the gym … even when the pandemic is over. Seems lots of people set up home gyms and began different exercise routines when things closed down, and 42% of those surveyed said they preferred their new at-home setup to their old gym memberships. That said, not everyone is ready to give up the gym. 40% of respondents said they would be going back to the gym as soon as they opened back up, and 75% of those said they would be putting in extra time at the gym to get back in shape after months of being at home. Love in lockdown …The bright side of coronavirus – it has strengthened relationships. A new survey by eharmony and relate found that 36% of people newly living with a partner believe the past two months feel like the equivalent to two years of commitment, and 59% of new couples feel more connected to their partner than ever. 50% of couples say they have enjoyed spending extra quality time together, and 36% say they feel more grateful for their partner. Are leftovers that tough? New research reveals that Millennials throw out the equivalent of 633 meals a year … because they don’t know how to reheat leftovers. A survey found that 23% of Millennials admitted they don’t know how to deal with leftovers. That’s compared to just 6% of those over the age of 55 who said they didn’t know what to do with leftover food. 21% of the Millennials surveyed said they throw food away because they get bored eating what they already have at home -- compared to just 7% of those over 55 who say the same.
