As I mentioned before, my wife and I love to camp but when it's Winter in Minnesota, there's not a lot of camping we can do and we look forward to getting somewhere warm, if only for a week. If you've never been, I definitely recommend Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. That has become our favorite "go to" destination.
Once there, it's a MUST (at least once) to visit Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina. If you've been there, then you know what I'm talking about. If not, you're in for a treat. Not only do they have great drink specials for happy hour but there's a lot of pictures hanging throughout the Cantina that have a lot of rock history. Pics of the old Van Halen, Sammy with a bunch of other rockers, etc. Just a fun place to go.
Of course, the Cabo Wabo isn't the only think you'll want to check out. I highly recommend the Cabo Marina. The last time we were there, we got to check out Martin Sheen's yacht (among some other HUGE yachts) and my wife got serenaded with Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama!
The Marina is full of all kinds of restaurants and bars, clothing stores, etc. Guaranteed you'll spend a LOT of time there. Then, of course, there's "Poncho." He's a sea lion that waits for boats to come back from fishing, to get some leftovers.
