Ed Sheeran & More to Perform (From Bed!) for Bedstock Cancer-Fighting Fest

Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas and dozens of other stars will join forces Tuesday (Nov. 28) for Bedstock, an online music festival where artists play from their beds to show solidarity and raise money for cancer-stricken children who spent their holidays in bed as well.

Bedstock is the creation of MyMusicRx, the flagship music medicine program of the Children’s Cancer Association. Now in its fourth year, the festival is promising a “Bigger and BEDDER” lineup than ever before, with close to 100 artists debuting their performances on Giving Tuesday in order to raise money for hospitalized kids and teens across the country. They’re also encouraging viewers across the globe to participate online by filming their own performances from their beds and sharing them on social media with the hashtag #BedstockChallenge.

Iron & Wine’s Sam Beam will participate in this year’s Bedstock, and his performance of “Call it Dreaming” off his latest album, Beast Epic, is premiering today on Billboard.

“Taking part in the Bedstock festival with MyMusicRx was an easy decision,” Beam said. “It’s a lovely cause with an important mission and I’m honored to help draw attention to their cause with a song. We also had a lot of fun filming the video. I didn’t even have to get out of bed!”
