Have you been to the most boring tourist trap in Minnesota?
This unique spot draws in a very specific crowd and is among travelers' favorite detours! While there are a handful of tourist destinations scattered across Minnesota that promise an unforgettable experience, this one is different.
People planning a trip to Minnesota might schedule time to check out the Split Rock Lighthouse, North Shore Drive, or perhaps a Vikings Game, but this surprising destination doesn't often make the list of the top places to visit in the state.
According to an updated list compiled by Far & Wide, the most boring tourist trap in all of Minnesota is the Mall of America in Bloomington. This location boasts "4.3 miles of consumerist America."
Here's what Far & Wide had to say about the most boring tourist trap in the entire state:
"America has a problem with buying stuff, and this building featuring no fewer than 520 shops is the mecca of that obsession. Minnesota’s population is about 5.6 million, but 40 million people visit this consumerist monstrosity annually. If that doesn’t haunt your nightmares…it should."
