The Band Perry stirred nostalgia by releasing a remastered version of the trio’s debut studio record. The remastered album arrives 15 years after the original.

The group said on Friday (August 29) that the songs on their debut project “carried us from small town stages to arenas around the world, and introduced us to the country music family that we’re forever grateful to be part of. This record was the spark that brought our band to life and was the beginning of the wild and wonderful journey that is The Band Perry.

“Today, we’re excited to share a remastered collection of the songs from our first album. We hope it stirs up all the memories, all the mile markers, and all the feelings that connected us in the first place,” The Band Perry said. “Thank you for being part of our story from the very first note. Here’s to everything that’s coming next.”

The Band Perry launched in 2010 with siblings Kimberly PerryReid Perry and Neil Perry. They announced in early 2023 that they would “take a creative break as a group and each focus on our individual creative pursuits.” They reunited for a homecoming show to help support Hurricane Helene relief efforts, and wished Neil “the most success” as he continued his solo endeavors. The Band Perry announced their official comeback in country music in early June, with original members Kimberly and Reid, plus Kimberly’s husband, Johnny Costello.

“After stepping away to take a break and evolve, we’re feeling more grounded, more fired-up, and more connected to our roots than ever,” the band said in a statement at that time. “Country music has always been home for us—and we feel so grateful to still have a seat at the table. We’re bringing everything we’ve lived, everything we’ve learned, and a whole new energy into this next season. We can’t wait to share what’s coming.”
