Dolly Parton aims for a new stop along the highway to “feel a little more like home,” to professional drivers, road-trippers and families.

The legendary country star will officially open Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop on June 24, in time for Fourth of July holiday travel, she announced on Wednesday morning (May 27). Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop “is a first-of-its-kind travel center experience,” s press release states. “Inspired by her lifelong connection to the open road, from her childhood in the hills of East Tennessee to decades spent touring the world by bus, it reimagines what a roadside stop can be for truck drivers, families, and travelers of all kinds. Blending regional roots and high-quality service with her signature warmth and Tennessee spirit, the travel stop offers a welcoming place to rest, refuel, and make the road a little kinder.”

The highly-anticipated travel stop will offer signature Tennessee hospitality via its barbecue at DLY BBQ, Dolly’s Cup of Ambition Coffee, a sit-down cafe and restaurant. An original mural will greet visitors and serve as “a permanent love letter” to the Tennessee town, “making this flagship location one-of-a-kind.” Visitors will also have unique photo opportunities, including with an onsite tour bus inspired by the one Parton used throughout her career, according to the press release.

Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop will open on June 24 at exit 22 off of I-65 in Cornersville, Tennessee. Details about grand opening festivities — “a large-scale celebration” — will be announced at a later date.
