These are Arkansas’s most chilling haunts you can actually visit.

Arkansas: Where the Spirits Never Clock Out

If you’re brave enough to trade your pumpkin spice latte for a paranormal road trip, Arkansas has no shortage of places where the lights flicker, the air chills, and something unseen might just brush past your shoulder.

🏨 The Crescent Hotel — Eureka Springs

They don’t call it America’s Most Haunted Hotel for nothing. Built in 1886, the Crescent has been everything from a luxury resort to a questionable “cancer hospital.” Guests still report ghostly doctors in the hallways, orbs floating in photos, and a mysterious “Basin Park Lady in the Mist.” Want to test your nerves? Book room 218 — if you dare.

💀 The Arlington Hotel — Hot Springs

At first glance, it’s all grand ballrooms and mineral baths … but after dark, visitors have heard phantom knocks on their doors, footsteps pacing the halls, and lights flickering with no one around. Even Al Capone supposedly stayed here — and rumor has it, he never really left.

⚖️ Judge Parker’s Courthouse — Fort Smith

“Hangin’ Judge” Isaac Parker sentenced more than 150 people to death in this historic courthouse, and some say their restless spirits never left. Nighttime visitors have heard whispers echo through the old gallows and footsteps that stop when you stop.

⚰️ Mount Holly Cemetery — Little Rock

Known as the “Westminster Abbey of Arkansas,” this cemetery holds many of the state’s most notable figures — and maybe a few who still stroll among the headstones. Locals have reported statues that move, and even flowers that appear on graves no one’s visited.

Whether you’re a full-blown believer or just chasing a good story, these spots are perfect for a spooky Arkansas road trip. Just remember — check in if you dare … because some guests don’t always check out.
