Our first real storm of the season hit Rochester on Tuesday. It's always good to have that first rain of Spring. Helps to wash off all the road salt, etc.
It started off with a flash of lightning, followed by a HUGE crash of thunder. It was pretty loud. I happened to be standing in our dining room, saw the flash, looked in the kitchen and then heard the thunder. I admit, it scared the crap out of me. It actually shook the whole house.
Welcome Spring! Here's to a great Summer.
I took a panoramic pic of the clouds on Hwy 14 & Broadway. Calm and peaceful on the left, a little dark and ominous on the right. Check it out. I took this from inside my truck. The picture doesn't really do it justice but I panned from left to right from the drivers side window to the passengers side.
I also shared a time lapse video (below) of another storm that passed through Rochester last year. Got any storm pics you want to share? Hit up our social media pages. We'd love to see them.
