I have some pretty fond memories of my first car. A 1976 Buick Skylark. I paid a whopping $100 for it. It was a terrible car. The left blinker didn't work. It had a bad lifter (Whatever that is. I'm not very mechanical) The interior was shot. The material on the roof was constantly hanging down until I finally ripped it all down. There was a hole in the floor that would let the exhaust in too.
It was a terrible car and a a GREAT car. We managed to put over 4,000 miles on it over the Summer I had it. At the end of that Summer, I sold it to someone so they could put it in a demolition derby.
I miss that car...but not enough to want to drive it again.
