The notorious "Tot Mom Killer" Casey Anthony is breaking her silence In a new special and alleges that her dad killed Caylee for a very sinister reason.
Peacock is about to release "Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies" on November 29th. Anthony speaks about the tragic death of her 2-year-old daughter that captivated the nation.
Anthony was public enemy #1 back in 2011 as her trial was televised across the U.S. painting her as a murder of her own daughter. Her young daughter was reported missing by Casey's mother in July of 2008, which was over 30 days after Casey said she left her with a nanny and never saw her again. Her body was eventually found in a wooded area near the Anthony family home. Much of the evidence pointed towards Casey, but her defense attorney's tried blaming it on her father and saying the Caylee had drown in the family pool, then her death was covered up.
In the new series on Peacock, Casey sticks with the drowning story and share never before heard alleged details about her Father's (George Anthony) involvement. Casey says that she was sleeping with Kaylee in her bed but, "was awoken by him (her father) shaking me and asking me where Caylee was," she said. "She would never even leave my room without telling me."
That's when she scrambled to search the house for her daughter and came across her Father holding her "soaking wet... heavy...cold" body. "He handed her to me. And telling me that it was my fault. That I did that. That I caused it. But he didn't rush to call 911, or he wasn't trying to resuscitate her. I just collapsed with her in my arms."
Casey claims her Father took Kaylee out of her arms and told her "it's going to be ok". Her theory is that Caylee couldn't have gotten into the pool herself, and that her Father had most likely killed her to "cover up what he had done." She believes he may have molested his granddaughter, just as she claims he did to her when she was young.
This theory was played out in court and George was put on the stand about it but nothing was ever discovered as evidence to support the pool theory or anything that Casey is currently claiming.
According to Casey, she left after that incident for 31 days to stay with her boyfriend and "genuinely, thought Caylee was alive". Also, very difficult to believe as she lied to cover something up obviously, so why lie if she's "still alive". Not to mention, she was seen out partying and living it up, while her mother kept asking about Caylee and where she was at.
I think this lady is a pathological liar and really don't understand why she's talking again in a doc. She has nothing to gain from it and her story seems very implausible.
She was acquitted of her daughter's murder and he Father has denied on many occasions that he molested Casey or Caylee. He also passed lie detector tests about knowing anything about how his granddaughter was killed.
