Sgt. Jerry Majetich Moved Into His Building Homes For Heroes House Today

Earlier this year The Bobby Bones Show along with all of the show's listeners raised money for Building Homes for Heroes with the 2021 patriotic PIMPINJOY line. All of the proceeds went to Building Homes for Heroes so that they could build a house for a hero and this year that hero was Army Sergeant Jerry Majetich and his wife Mary-Ella.

Today, which also happens to be Veteran's Day, Army Sergeant Jerry Majetich and Mary-Ella are moving into their home! He called into the show today to express his gratitude to the show and listeners. He also noted that he plans to pay it forward to others who served. He was appreciative that he was helped in this way and he wants to do the same for others who may be in similar situations as him.

Army Sergeant Jerry Majetich has been through so much during his time serving our country. He joined the military in 1988 because he wanted to better his life while serving and protecting his country. He served for 20 years, including a stint in the Marine Corps, before being honorably discharged in 2007. He also suffers from PTSD and a TBI. Since his initial injuries occurred, he has undergone 80 surgeries to date and is currently still recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center.
